• The central element in the bathroom: a freestanding bathtub facing the panoramic window overlooking the garden.
• An indoor fountain in the vestibule, which welcomes the inhabitants with the gentle sound of drops.
• A special rain-effect shower that provides a relaxing ritual after a busy day.

🔥 Fire – the warmth of home

• A dominant fireplace in the living room – large-scale, minimalist, with an open hearth. The fire here functions not only as a source of heat, but also as the heart of family life.
• Flame-inspired lighting elements – ambient lighting that evokes an atmosphere of calm, subdued glow.

🌿 Earth – stability and authenticity

• Solid wooden beams and stone as the main building materials.
• Handmade ceramic elements in the bathroom and kitchen that give the space a unique signature.
• Green walls and vertical gardens that bring a piece of nature directly into the interior.

💨 Air – openness and lightness

• Large-format French windows that connect the interior to the garden and let the house breathe.
• Minimalist railings and open galleries upstairs that promote visual lightness.
• Connecting the floors with an internal balcony, allowing for easier communication between family members while adding playfulness to the house.

The challenge? The libraries had to be practical, aesthetic and at the same time adapted to different needs. We wanted a place where colleagues would enjoy stopping by – not only for professional literature, but also for relaxation and informal brainstorming.

➡️ Design: I designed the bookcases in a modern minimalist style with a combination of natural wood, black metal and muted colours. Elegant but not cold.

➡️ Functionality: The shelves have different heights to accommodate both large encyclopedias and small paperbacks.

➡️ Location: the libraries are strategically placed – not only in the main relaxation zones, but also in less expected places… for example in the staff kitchen. Because who says inspiration can’t come from there too? 😊

Now, whenever someone reaches for a book, they’ll know that good design can be not only beautiful, but also useful and inspiring.

➡️ We knocked down a few partitions to create a flowing space where the kitchen, dining room and living room function as one living centre of the house. The kitchen became an imaginary boundary between the zones – not only aesthetically, but also functionally.

➡️ A double-sided seating bar allows communication between those who are cooking and those who are enjoying a glass of wine or breakfast. An interactive and natural connection that gives the house a whole new dimension.

This London home has been given a fresh, modern soul without losing its historic charm.

Café Chloé is an iconic brand that has already stamped its pink handwriting on several branches in the Czech Republic and abroad – and more will follow! They all share one vision: elegance, romance and sophistication.

My challenge was to design a space that was instagram-perfect, yet functional for everyday operations. I complemented the soft shades of pink with luxurious brass details, rounded shapes and soft velvet fabrics. The entire interior is like a dessert – sweet, inviting and full of details that are pleasing to the eye.

When you sit down in one of these pink armchairs with a cup of fragrant coffee and a piece of fluffy cake, you’ll understand why Café Chloé is the place to come back to.

This project had one big challenge: time. Construction was already underway, so they needed to act quickly, efficiently and without compromising on design. I prepared several layout options and we evaluated them together to find the right concept that combined practicality and style.

➡️ Kitchen: In a small space, every inch counts. That’s why I chose soft, light tones that visually enlarge the interior. Because of the window location, it was not possible to hang the upper cabinets above the hob and extractor hood, so we opted for an alternative storage solution. The American fridge slightly encroaches on the dining area, but its back wall naturally became part of the practical storage counter.

➡️ Living room: the space is divided by aluminium elements that create two functional zones. In one, the client and her daughter enjoy movie nights, in the other there is a cozy reading corner with a windowsill, a bookcase and a desk. Home is about feelings, and here comfort and harmony reign.

➡️ Bedroom: the main dominant feature is a huge window overlooking the Prokop valley. Such a view deserves a special place – a sitting sill where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a moment of peace in the evening. The bed is oriented directly to the view, because some scenery simply deserves to be the first thing you see in the morning.

➡️ Children’s room: Julinka designed it herself – her chosen combination of light blue and pink perfectly captures her personality. Play elements were a priority, so the room includes ladders, a slide and a raised play area, under which a cosy sleeping area with a seat net was created.

This apartment is proof that, even under time pressure, a cosy and stylish home can be created that exactly matches the lifestyle of its inhabitants.
